Angus 3D has received funding for the below project:-

Additive Manufacturing – Development of Metal Printing in the local Scottish engineering community is supported as part of Zero Waste Scotland’s Resource Efficient Circular Economy Accelerator Programme, funded by the Scottish Government and European Regional Development Fund. This programme provides funding and support for small and medium sized businesses in Scotland to be more resource efficient and create a more circular economy.

PROJECT DETAILS

The aim of the Project is to:
• Reduce waste associated with traditional subtractive manufacturing and transform manufacturing in Scotland by creating metal printing (Additive Manufacturing) and Vacuum Casting capabilities.

In carrying out the Project, the Recipient undertakes to:
• Develop and expand additive manufacturing technology to enable Angus 3D and its clients to benefit from the development of a circular manufacturing approach in Scotland
• Provide and build a manufacturing supply chain which is highly focused on a circular economy with the use of this efficient innovative manufacturing technology
• Achieve carbon savings
